Growing a Sustainable Future

The Agriculture Program emphasizes disciplines related to the management of soil, water, air, plant, and livestock resources. The program explores agriculture through the “Three E’s” of sustainability – environment, economics, and social equity – allowing students to develop a holistic understanding of our food cycle from farm to table and beyond. Students gain hands-on experience and critical skills to address real-world agricultural challenges sustainably.

For students who wish to spend more time on the farm or in the greenhouse, internships are available through the Cooperative Work Experience program.
